Membezakan Gaji Kasar vs Gaji Bersih
Gaji Kasar ialah gaji pokok penuh serta sebarang elaun tetap yang dijanjikan dalam kontrak kerja. Gaji Bersih pula (take-home pay) merupakan baki akhir gaji pokok yang telah ditolak KWSP pekerja, PERKESO, SIP dan PCB LHDN.
Kadar Caruman Majikan & Pekerja
Undang-undang Malaysia menetapkan sumbangan KWSP sebanyak 11% untuk pekerja, manakala majikan mencarum 12% atau 13%. Caruman PERKESO (SOCSO) dan SIP (EIS) pula masing-masing mempunyai had gaji siling silinder sebanyak RM6,000 sebulan.
